How to Use the TDEE Calculator

  1. Select Unit: The default is set to Metric (kilograms and centimeters). If you prefer to use imperial units (pounds and inches), you can change this from the dropdown menu.

  2. Age: Enter your age in years (e.g., 25).

  3. Gender: Select your gender (Male or Female).

  4. Height: Enter your height in centimeters (e.g., 175). If you chose imperial units, enter your height in inches.

  5. Weight: Enter your weight in kilograms (e.g., 70). If you chose imperial units, enter your weight in pounds.

  6. Activity Level: Select your activity level from the dropdown menu. Options typically range from sedentary to very active. Choose the one that best describes your daily routine and exercise habits.

  7. reCAPTCHA: Complete the reCAPTCHA verification to prove you're not a robot.

  8. Calculate: Click the "Calculate" button to get your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) result. This is an estimate of the number of calories your body burns in a day.

Optional:

  • Sample: Click the "Sample" button to see an example calculation with pre-filled values.
  • Reset: Click the "Reset" button to clear all fields and start over.
